Survey Evaluation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) for Health and Safety in Building Construction Projects in Malaysia

نویسندگان

چکیده

Traditional safety planning methods that rely on manual inspections result in labour-intensive, time-consuming, and inadequate information transmission, which has significant negative social economic effects our society, as well financial schedule losses for construction projects. Building modelling (BIM) is useful analysing workplace issues, preventing risks hazards, improving throughout the project’s life cycle. This study intends to pinpoint health concerns understand role of BIM adoption enhancing Malaysian building Following a survey 302 industry professionals, statistical data analysis using relative importance index, reliability, validity, correlation measures was performed. The results show implementing can prevent accidents sites by detecting physical spatial clashes, anticipating project dangers, providing wealth parametric entire cycle structures. A framework created improve application enhance linked with found stakeholders believe implementation projects reduce accident rates Malaysia.
